  1. I Personally feel that Cases like Uphaar should not be delayed as today such a Man Made tragedy has happened with these families but tomorrow it can happen with any Citizen of India.
The Courts in our country should value human Life and should pass judgements immediately on such kind of cases.

  2. Human life is so precious. It is build of love and relationships. A single loss of life moves nations …In india we need to come out from the mindset that it was gods will…we cannot forget that it is a manmade illness….

Despite the loss of their own little world…the Krishnamorthy couple has been fighting a battle along with other victims famlies to ensure safety of the future generations…the fight is on for justice….the culprits are still free… we pledge our whole hearted support …

  3. i lost my cousin in the tragedy…she was barely 2 and a half years old…for me..this grief was the biggest one till now…but after reading the papers about every one..it seems that my grief is no where in their vicinity…..i salute to all those people who fight with their lives each day…and continue to live even after going through so much, just because life has to go on!!!! hats off to all of you….may the soul of those who died, rest in peace…and may god bless all those who survived with every happiness now…with all the support that i can offer..reedima.

  4. I shuddered with horror when I read about this tragedy a decade back….I have followed the arduous fight to bring to book all those responsible and right from the start, I felt justice would be done. So many dead and all from sheer carelessness….it is unforgivable! I also applaud the courage of all the families of the victims who have not given up. Their brave fight will bring about changes in our system which will benefit the common man….I only wish that it could have happened under different circumstances. I would like to add that Neelam Krisnamoorthy inspires me….I look at her and I see a committed and determined lady with the spirit of a tiger….a few people like her can bring about the impossible.
I wish all those who have been fighting this case, which must have been an uphill battle all along, best wishes….I will continue to pray for you all.

  5. Even after such a tragedy, Ansals have not taken a lesson. They are still employing senior Level officers with tinted background. One Mr DK Anand who is accused d in 3000 cr Land scam of Ludhiana City Centre , ( Capt Amrinder Singh and other are also accused has been employed by the Sushil Ansal Company at a very senior level and being paid a hefty salary.

He was director with Today homes, the compnay involved the scam. Even after Knowing the background, ansals are keepin such people. For What——–definitly for finding and doing unlawful practices such as Uphaar Trgedy. Lets all pray to God ,

  8. Respected Members,
This letter is an appeal in general, an effort towards providing a safer environment to live in. The need and demand for quality products especially in the electrical sector have been constantly on the rise with a prime importance on safety of human life.
By now we all know that short circuit in electrical wiring is a major contributor in fire caused by human carelessness. Its more disheartening to know that major death occur in incident of fire is due to poisonous smoke emitted by the PVC or wire insulation.
The fix to such an issue would be in the use of Halogen Free flame retardant (HFFR) insulated wires, a clean and green chemistry which awaits approval from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
Only certain educated people happen to know about such cables which does not emit hazardous gases to kill but clear smoke for us to see the exit during fires. Those cables should be made a compulsion but there are no steps taken, no specification formed.
Why not educate the masses and get a specification in place? It is a small way which could actually bring a sea change along with safety of course. Please find a video which we found on the internet which highlights this cause.

It’s heartbreaking to see so many lives lost, irreparable loses and properties lost when we could actually avoid it to some extent. So why not get a specification in place complying the same?
I would request all of you to help in getting this standard implemented by spreading this video to the maximum people.
    Thanking you,
    With best regards,
    A Concerned Citizen
